These Terms govern your use of realscholar.help (the “Platform”) and its editing, proofreading, and writing services. In these Terms, the website is referred to as the “Platform,” its editing, proofreading, writing, and related support as the “Services,” and the Platform operator as “we,” “us,” or “our.” “You” refers to any visitor, client, or other person using the Platform. “Scholars” or “Editors” refers to the independent contractors engaged to provide the Services.
By accessing the Platform, contacting us, submitting a request, placing an order, or using any Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform or its Services. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable Canadian law.
2. Our services
We provide editing, proofreading, feedback, and writing support based on each client’s requirements. The scope, price, and delivery time will be confirmed before work begins.
3. Educational use
Our Services are intended for learning, guidance, reference, and personal development. You must not use them for misrepresentation, dishonesty, or any breach of institutional rules. You remain responsible for how you use the assistance provided.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. Anyone under 18 may use the Platform only with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
5. Client responsibilities
You must provide accurate data, lawful content, and all information reasonably required to complete your order. You confirm that you have permission to share any information or content submitted through the Platform.
6. Specialists
Our Editors provide Services as independent contractors. They are not employees, partners, or legal representatives of the Platform.
7. Pricing and payment
Unless stated otherwise, prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes may be added as required by law. Payment must be made through an approved payment method before Services begin unless otherwise agreed.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund requests are reviewed according to the stage of the order, the work already completed, and our published Refund Policy. Refunds will also be provided where required by applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.
9. Delivery and revisions
Delivery dates are estimates based on the information available when an order is accepted. Incomplete instructions, delayed responses, or changes to the original requirements may affect delivery. Included revisions must relate to the original instructions.
10. Intellectual property
The Platform, branding, design, and original website content belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission. After full payment, you may use the completed work for lawful personal and educational purposes, subject to these Terms and any third-party rights.
